What You Will Win:

Contest Rules:

5 Winners will be chosen on May 2nd, 2010, May 10th and will be contacted by me to schedule their private phone session right away.

I extended the contest for an additional week because I made a huge mistake! When I sent the notification of this contest, it did not go out on the original date of April 21st.  So…you have an extra week to get your entries in!

Lori has secured one of the winning spots by being the first to “publicly” enter her closet challenges.  Yay Lori!!!  I will choose 4 more winners soon.

Seems like no one wants to be the first one to open up about the closet. We’d all love to hear about what you’ve got and I can’t wait to help you figure out exactly what to do to make your closet work for you.

My suggestions will be tailored fit for your specific closet and organizing style.

Feel free to send your entry to melody@melodygranger.com if you prefer privacy! The winners will be announced soon!

The first person to post their entry here, instead of sending it via email, will automatically be one of the winners! Do I have any takers?

I’m game! My issue started with a move from a HUGE house with HUGE closets to a much smaller abode with teeny closets. I also have a tendency to hold on to clothes entirely too long. PLUS, I have gained, lost and, now gained weight again, leading to 2.5 distinct wardrobes. I need advice on what kind of structure/organizing aids I should add to my very small, oddly shaped closet to make it work (and a little encouragement to “let go” of some of the excess. Help!

Okay. Here goes. I have two closets in adjacent rooms. Probably each about 5 ft long. Both closets have two rods one high and one middle. One son wears adult mens clothes which means long length shirts and long length pants. My biggest challenge with his closet is just not enough room to hang his clothes. The closet on the adjacent side is cut small due to the duct work enclosure in the closet.

Hey there Belinda!!!

Thanks for sharing your closet challenges. :) If you subscribed to the comments for this post, then you’ll see my reply to your comment in your email box. I’d love some clarification.

Clarify this “not enough room to hang his clothes.” Do you mean the clothes hanging on the top rod are hitting the clothes on the middle rod? OR He doesn’t have enough space in his closet to hang all his clothes?

I just moved into a cozy studio apartment and my walk-in closet serves the purpose of being an area for my clothes, as well as a storage space for books and other items. I don’t know how to organize everything so that I can access everything readily without having to look through piles of stuff.
