HOW IT WORKS:
At the beginning of the hour each lady will share the goal they intend to accomplish, then on the next hour you’ll share your progress/accomplishments and share what you’ll work on for the next hour.   Repeat.

The importance of calling in each hour is to give yourself a short break, so that your mind doesn’t go numb or start feeling confusion.  Many people have better stamina when they work approximately 45 minutes, get some fresh air or relax for a few minutes, then return to their project.  Plus, this is a great way to help you realize the amount of time it takes you to complete different types of tasks.  That means you’ll get better and better at realistically planning your time.

NOTE:  This is not a coaching call, but if you have a quick question, then stay on the line until after each lady has taken her turn announcing her goal.  I’ll be happy to spend a couple of minutes with you at that time.

FOR BEST RESULTS:
Work in a clear area, even if that means you will pull things out into another location of your home.

Please, please, please try not to answer your phone or get on the computer unless it is a step you need to take to complete a task. Phones and computers are probably the biggest distractions and reasons that women do not accomplish as much as they would like in a given day.

Set a timer or your phone alarm for approximately 45 minutes on each round, so you don’t have to worry about watching the clock as you work. It’s so easy to lose track of time!

Frequently Asked Questions:

I will not be able to participate on one of the dates, is that okay?   Yes, that’s okay.  Sometimes traveling plans or other pre-planned activities are already scheduled for some ladies.  Simply participate on as many days that you can.  And if you have something that is scheduled on one of the Mondays that isn’t a high priority, then consider dedicating that time for you.

When will GID Mondays be available again?  Most likely, they will be available in the Fall season, before the Holidays arrive.

Will there be a private group area?  Yes.  I can add to you to my private Facebook group if you’d like to share your progress and/or post pictures. (I love to see pictures!)  I will not be watching the group area the entire 3 hours, but I will check in each hour immediately following the call-in.

I may not be able to particpate the entire 3 hours on Mondays.  Is this okay?  Absolutely.  Everyone simply needs to do the best they can with the time they have available.  Call-in at the top of the hours that you can participate.  Or you may use the private Facebook group area to announce when you have arrived and what you’ll be focusing on.  Also, if you need to stop early you can tell me on the call or in the Facebook area.

Does it matter what I work on?  Nope.  You can work on anything that you desire to get off your mind…like making labels for files, doing paperwork, tidying up a closet, getting items in the attic or basement, cleaning out or organizing your emails (including unsubscribing from lists), completing end-of-month financial tasks, cleaning out make-up bags… The way I see it, if it’s on your mind, then it’s time to get it off.  I’ll probably be vacuuming out my car!!!
