You have probably known for some time that your emotions are affected by the nature of your surroundings.

You feel better when your home is clean and clutter free.

Your home may have become full of stuff that needs to be tossed, donated, recycled, and reorganized, but you are embarrassed to admit that you’ve been putting it off and putting it off for several years.  YEARS!!!

You probably tossed it in bags, bins, boxes, drawers, closets, or behind closed doors and physically put it out of your way because you decided that all your immediate priorities were more important.

You most likely moved, started or planned remodeling, updating, and beautifying your home. You have been able to get rid of some things and reorganize certain areas, but you still have more areas that need your attention.  I know you haven’t forgotten about those areas, because I’m sure your mind reminds you when you try to relax.

You may have arrived at the point where you feel stuck.  You may even feel a strong sense of overwhelm.

You are ready to deal with the rest of the clutter because your need for a change has set in.  The need comes from deep within.

You may feel anxiety or nervousness, feel ashamed or embarrassed, or even feel guilty.  You may have heard the saying “cluttered surroundings means a cluttered mind.”  You probably notice that it is hard to think straight and make good decisions when you are living with cluttered areas in your home.  Clutter is a huge energy drainer.  Even when you don’t see it, you know it is there.

You CAN live in a laid-back, energy rich, comfortably organized environment.  Is that what you want?

Once you take the initiative to make it a priority and start eliminating your clutter and simplifying your spaces, then little by little you’ll notice your thought processes become more clear and little things will start happening in your life that will guide you in the direction you want to go.

Your heart may desire to focus on making more money with less stress, spending more care-free time with your favorite people, traveling more, learning new things, connecting with new people, or simply enjoying your daily experiences.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how something as simple as changing your environment can make the difference in the type of lifestyle you live.

Would you like to make clearing out your space a priority starting today?

Hey there! I’m just testing this out. I want to make sure it works! So, I’ll go first.

I’m Melody. I love doing virtually anything outdoors. Especially planting flowers. When I am hanging out in the yard and my husband, Mike, asks me what I’m doing, I say “I’m watching the grass grow.” My favorite time of day is when the sun is setting. The view is always spectacular. Something interesting about me…I love the smell of the air right before it rains…it smells like dirt blowing in the wind.

And I’ve been yearning to do yoga. The desire to stretch my body and breathe deeply calls to me.

Now it’s your turn.

P.S. If you have a personal blog, then include your blog web address. If ya’ want. ;-)

P.S.S. You can promote your business by entering the web address. It is not required.

After just moving from a cramped 1 bedroom to a 3 bedroom 2 bath 2000 sq ft place I feel so free! I cleared out and let go of so much I think I may have even threw more than kept. Love your heart and vision as you will be able to help those who are not ready to let go. Looking fwd to more and LOVE the site.

Hey Hillary!

I’m so excited for you. I bet you are soooo extremely excited to have the extra space. It’s so awesome that you may have thrown away more than you kept. That’s why I love moving! You really get to pull it all out. When you have the vision of how your new home will look and feel, then it is hard to bring in items that don’t sit in alignment with your dreams.

Thanks for your lovely compliment on my site! Appreciate it.

Hi Melody!

Well done on the new look for your site. And what a great idea to get everyone to introduce themselves. :)

Something I enjoy doing is gardening – and I’m totally into the flowers as well! ;) I planted a beautiful little flower garden this year and have been enjoying seeing the butterflies and occasional hummingbird come by to check it out. :)

My favorite time of day is probably first thing in the morning, when my boyfriend Jon and I sit out on our back deck for a while before starting the rest of our day.

And something I have been yearning to do: travel, see the world, and experience different cultures. :D

Hi Jess,

I know you can appreciate the little website things. The fact that you say “well done” is huge!

I really want to get to know my visitors in a fun way. This is a great way to meet!

Totally cool that you spend time on your back deck with Jon. What an awesome morning routine! Hummingbirds, butterflies, and plants…a girl after my own heart!

Maybe we will meet on a flight one day! Because I want to travel more too. ;-)

Hi Melody!
I’ve always been an advocate of simplicity and have no problem throwing things out. I got married 4 years ago and my hubby is the total opposite, stacks of “stuff” everywhere!! We are now outgrowing our home and are being taken over by the clutter. Yes, it is affecting me in a very negative way. I’m overwhelmed, negative and have just given up. I look forward to your tips and HELP!!

Hey Chastity!

So glad you dropped by;-) You are very welcome!

Usually space is not a problem, but the amount of stuff in the space is the problem. It is common for people to be going thru cycles of change and self-growth. While this is happening, I believe that there may be some confusion or clarity issues about what we are doing with our lives.

I love moving people forward because your environment impacts virtually every other area of your life. I have NO DOUBT about that.

I’m not a psychologist or anything like that, but you may find my interview with Julie McLindon, a relationship life coach useful. I added the link below.
